The Indian Air Force is all set to wow the Bengaluru crowd. The Aero India show starts tomorrow at Yelahanka Air Base. On display will be India’s indigenous aircraft Tejas. So will be the Swedish Gripen and American F-16. 30 countries are set to participate at the event. For the first time China as well will take part. These countries will showcase a total of 70 Aircraft‘s.
Fighter jets like the Rafale, Swedish Gripen and F-16 fighters will take part in the Aero India 2017. The Rafale will be in public eye for the first time since the deal between India and France finalized.
At the Aero India show the government will look to push the “Make In India” initiative by organizing business meetings and seminars. Also present at the event will be exhibitors from United States, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Israel, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Ukraine, Singapore, Sweden, Spain, South Africa, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Canada, Australia, Poland and Greece.
Therefore a total of 270 Indian companies and 279 from around the world will be present at the event. With the event the Indian Government hopes to boost investment in the Indian aerospace industry.
For the high paced breath taking acrobatics the “Surya Kiran” and “Sarang” will perform at the event. The “Surya Kiran” team will fly the Hawk AJT aircraft. The Hawk is a premier aerobatic aircraft. The British Red Arrows use it as well. The team will take to the skies for a record 500th time.
The Bengaluru crowd will witness some of the top fighter jets of the world flown by some of the best pilots in the world. These pilots will attempt breath taking stunts that will leave the crowd in awe.
