Indian smartphone company, Intex has just launched Aqua 4.0 4G and Aqua Young 4G, two brand new budget smartphones in India with VoLTE support. The new Aqua 4.0 4G is the upgraded variant of older Intex Aqua 4.0 smartphone (launched in 2012), it comes with a 4-inch AMOLED display with WVGA resolution, which is the main highlight of the smartphone. While the second newbie, Aqua Young 4G comes with superior internal hardware. The two new smartphones offer some decent specifications for their price point. As per Mumbai based a telecom store, Mahesh Telecom, Aqua 4.0 4G is now available for purchase at Rs 4,199 and the Aqua Young 4G has a retail price of Rs. 5849. Both the phones run Android version 6.0 out of the box (Marshmallow) and a powered by quad-core SoCs.
INTEX AQUA 4.0 4G SPECIFICATIONS: –
The Intex Aqua 4.0 4G features a 4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) at a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch but the screen is not protected by a Scratch Resistant display. Intex Aqua 4.0 4G is a dual SIM handset powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor. Speaking of the memory, it comes with 512MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the Aqua 4.0 4G runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with slight modifications and is backed up by a removable Li-Ion 1500mAh battery. Moving on to the camera department, Aqua 4.0 4G sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA resolution (0.3 MP) front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity options on the Intex Aqua include, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), FM Radio, 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microUSB port. The smartphone, Intex Aqua 4.0 4G comes in Black, Blue and Champagne gold colour options for Rs. 4,199.
INTEX AQUA YOUNG 4G SPECIFICATIONS: –
Aqua Young 4G has much better internal hardware than the Aqua 4.0 4G. The Intex Aqua Young 4G comes with a 5-inch display with a FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution at a pixel density of 200 ppi and the screen is protected by an unnamed glass. This is a TN LCD panel. The Intex Aqua Young 4G is also a dual SIM smartphone powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M 64-bit processor combined with a Mali-T720 GPU. Coming to the memory, Intex Aqua Young 4G boasts 1 GB of RAM along with 8 GB of internal storage, out of which 3.75GB remains vacant for the user. Don’t upset for storage because it has a microSD card slot that you can easily expand its storage volume up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the Aqua Young 4G runs Android version 6.0 out of the box (Marshmallow) and is powered by a removable 2800mAh battery that can offer 14 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. Moving on to the camera department, Aqua Young 4G sports a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual SIM mobile supports 4G VoLTE and the other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, GPS, A-GPS, a microUSB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The three sensors on the Intex Aqua Young 4G are light, gravity and proximity sensors. The Intex Aqua Young 4G comes in Champagne Gold and Blue colors and is priced at Rs. 5849.
