“The food being served is substandard,” complained the BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav. He is now dismissed.

The BSF jawan also spoke of the poor facilities provided. He had also said that the supplies were not reaching them. Tej Bahadur belonged to the 29th Battalion of the BSF force stationed at Jammu & Kashmir.

Tej Bahadur’s officers tried to downplay the incident. They also levelled charges of insubordination against Tej Bahadur.  Indian Express reported that his family had planned on filing a habeas corpus. This was after they were unable to locate him. They located him at a different outpost.

In a subsequent video, Tej Bahadur Yadav had questioned the intention of Narendra Modi. He wondered if the Prime Minister really desired to end corruption.

A PTI report reveals an inquiry held against Tej Bahadur Yadav on the grounds of breach of discipline.

“He broke service rules,” said an official. In fact, he also mentioned the allegations of indiscipline that went against Tej Bahadur.

Tej Bahadur’s wife posted a video about the issue.
