Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap launched the poster of ‘Gurgaon’, a modern noir thriller, which, is produced by Ajay Rai and Alan McAlex’s Jar Pictures (“Liar’s Dice”.) The film is slated for a release on August 4, 2017. It may be noted the cinematographer Shanker Raman’s directorial debut “Gurgaon” had won the fiction award at the National Film Development Corporation’s Film Bazaar in Goa. Rahul Jain’s “Machines” won the documentary award. The film has actors like Akshay Oberoi, Aamir Bashir, Ragini Khanna, Shalini Vatsa, Srinivas Sunderrajan in led roles.
The film will compete in the box office along with Jab Harry Met Sejal. The film is an off-beat movie with low-budget expenses. The film was in trouble for financial constraint but later got completed.It is a story of real estate baron and about his conflict with his family. The story is based on real-life incidents and the director has won critics appreciation. Anurag Kashyap has lauded the movie and has even appreciated the performance of the actors
