Tom Cruise’s latest movie and the sixth film in the Mission Impossible franchise, Fallout, is going for a blast on the box-office this weekend! Early projections had it that it would make around $60 million, but now the numbers have gone up, to $65 million or even $70 million! Thanks to the raving reviews and amazing response by both critics and audiences across the globe. They have called it the best movie of the year and also of the entire Mission Impossible series-and yes, the best action film in the history!
The last film, MI: 5, Rogue Nation scored the second best opening weekend of $55.5 million, back in 2015. The best opening week by a MI movie is by the 2nd movie Mission Impossible 2, way back in 2002, which scored $57.8 million.
Last film Rouge Nation was directed by Christopher McQuarrie and this one too is helmed by him, which also makes it the first direct sequel to a film in the series.
Fallout’s direction, action and cinematography, all are being praised all over the world by every movie analyst.
The film stars the main characters from the past films like the main man, Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise), Luther Stickell (played by Ving Rhames), Benji Dunn (played by Simon Pegg), Ethan’s wife Julia (played by Michelle Monaghan) and Ilsa (played by Rebecca Ferguson). Along with them are some new faces including ‘Superman’ actor Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby and Angela Bassett.
