Deepika Padukone, the “Piku” actress, made her Hollywood red carpet debut at the MTV EMA Awards 2016 and the internet went berserk over what she wore to the event. Netizens were divided over how horrendous or sexy she looked but how did she really fare on the fashion meter?
Deepika wore a Monisha Jaising, olive green skirt with a thigh high slit and a black sequined bralette. She teamed the outfit up with black stilletoes and long olive green danglers, She also sported a black sequined jacket to go with the dress. Don’t miss the big black belt!
The Good:
We love the bralette and the stilletoes. The slit of the skirt showed off Deepika’s sexy long legs and we think that was a total win!
The jacket is a good addition to the outfit too!

The Bad:
Deepika could really ditch the belt and go for a different pair of ear rings.
The skirt looked a little too long, almost like she was draping a curtain! The shade of olive didn’t bring out the best of her beauty.

But if you thought green wasn’t Deepika’s color, you’re so wrong! Check her out on Vogue’s cover rocking a Sabyasachi.
The Best:
Even if everyone thought the dress was a bad choice (parts of it were), Deepika had her best smile on and that nullifies every negative comment ever made on that dress. Because the best thing a girl can wear, is a great smile!

Won’t you agree?
Deepika was presenting an award at the European Music Awards that night. She presented the award with “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” co-star Nina Dobrev, of the “Vampire Diaries” fame. The lovely ladies presented the award to The Weeknd, who won Best Video for his latest single “Starboy.”
