After launching the MediaPad M3 Lite 10 tablet earlier this month, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei on Friday launched a new tablet under its MediaPad tablet series, dubbed as the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 in the Russian tech market. The new Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 will be made available in 3 attractive body colour options including Gold, Silver and Gray. But, as of now, the company has not revealed the pricing details and availability of the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0. The major highlight of the tablet is its superior audio setup, as the audio system comes engineered with the Harman-Kardon audio lab and company’s own sound management system for an elegant audio experience.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 sports an 8-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. The display also comes engineered with Blue Ray Filter mode for comfortable reading. The tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor (8 cores Corex-A53) coupled with Adreno 505 to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the device comes in two RAM and native storage variants– MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. All internal storages can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Talking about its software fonts, Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 runs Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with company’s latest EMUI 5.1 custom UI skin running on top of the device. The tablet also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, that is housed underneath the Home Button of the device. In terms of photography, Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. Talking about its selfie camera, the tablet sports an another 8-megapixel camera for making video call and capturing selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 supports various connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, LTE Cat4, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS/Glonass, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include an Ambient light sensor, Digital Compass, Proximity sensor and Gravity sensor. The tablet is fuelled by a high-density 4800mAh LI-Po battery. The tablet measures at 213.3 x 123.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 310 grams.
