After launching the Mi Router 3C in the Indian market, Chinese electronics company Xiaomi on Monday launched a bunch of new devices under its accessories portfolio in India. The new range includes the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2, and Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini. While the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 and the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 will be made available for purchase starting July 9 via e-commerce websites Amazon.in and Flipkart.com, the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 and the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini will be up for sale exclusively via company’s online and offline store, Mi.com and Mi Home store from June 20 and June 21 respectively. Note that, the new Mi Power Bank 2 series will also be available for purchase starting June 20 via both Xiaomi’s official online and offline retail stores across the country. As for pricing, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 1,199, the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 is priced at Rs. 2,199, the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 is priced at Rs. 999 and if you want to buy the new Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini, then you have to pay Rs. 1,299.
Mi Power Bank 2
Starting with the Mi Power Bank 2, the new generation Mi power bank comes in two capacity variants, 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh. Both the new Mi Power Bank 2 feature two-way fast charging capability and high-density batteries. New Mi Power Bank 2 comes equipped with nine layers of circuit chip protections for safety. These safety features include input/output overvoltage protection, temperature protection, hardware-level short circuit protection, and output overcurrent protection. The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 sports a thin anodised aluminium casing with an 180° arc design, making it just 14.1mm thin. The 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 has 5.0V-2.0A / 9V-12A, 18W input. So, it will take almost 4.2 hours for full charge. Dimensionally, it measures 130 x 71 x 14.1mm.
On the other hand, the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 spots a polycarbonate design and just 23.9 mm thin. The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 comes equipped with high-density lithium polymer batteries with two-way fast charging and two USB output ports. It has 5V / 2A 9V / 2A 12V / 1.5A Input modes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. So, the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 will take almost 6.2 hours for full charge. It measures at 135.5 x 67.6 x 23.9mm.
Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2
Moving on the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2, it is compatible with most popular router brands and delivers fast and stable connections for up to 16 devices. The Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 comes loaded with two built-in high performance PCB antennas to expand router signal range and boost download speeds. The router also helps users to auto-select optimal Wi-Fi channels (13 LAN Channels) for fast transmission speeds. The USB connector on the device can be simply plugged and played with power sockets, power strips, power banks, PC, laptops and other devices. The device sports a compact and portable design and can be easily configured using the Mi Home app which detects troubleshoot problems, analyses and resolves Wi-Fi issues.
Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini
Xiaomi has also launched a new Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini, which is the successor to the company’s previously announced Mi Bluetooth speaker. Design wise, the device is a small wireless speaker and sports a premium quality metal design, giving it an elegant outlook. The power button and the micro-USB charging port are placed at the very bottom side of the speaker. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini features Bluetooth 4.0 technology and a built-in microphone along with noise reduction technology which allows users to make high-quality phone calls. Dimensionally, the speaker measures 52 × 52 × 25mm and weighs just 58 grams. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini has a battery life of 4 hours.
