When actresses from the Indian film fraternity are making waves on the international film circuit, naturally Indian critics can not stop raving about them. There is no denying fact that the Bollywood Queen Deepika Padukone is emerging as the glamour queen in Hollywood too. Quintessential desi girl Deepika Padukone who made her Hollywood debut in a film ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’, is going to win the hearts of her followers alongside several Hollywood celebrities in Teen Choice Awards 2017, a summer hottest live event which will be telecast on FOX channel on August 13.
Teen Choice 2017TM has announced its nominations. The Voting will close tonight at 9 PM in Twitter and other social media network. Five films are selected for nominations category. They include “Logan”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”, “The Fate of the Furious”, “Transformers: The Last Knight”, “Wonder Woman”, “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”.
While Deepika Padukone’s film, ”xXx: Return of Xander Cage” leads the TEEN CHOICE 2017 film category with five nominations, other films have won either four or three nominations. Her character has a good impact over Return of Xander Cage, where she is playing a huntress named Serena Unger. The film was one of the 10th top grossing films of 2017 in the US. For the first time, Deepika was seen in an action dosed avatar.
Coming back to Teen Choice Award nominations, our own Deepika Padukone is likely to face competition with Gal Gadot who is the actress of the film ‘Wonder Woman’. Even “Wonder Woman” is doing currently well in box office and it is the first superhero film in more than a decade to have a female actress.
