Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo on Thursday announced its partnership with the Indian telecom giant Reliance Jio to offer up to 60GB additional 4G mobile data for those consumers who plan to buy a new Oppo smartphone. Under the Oppo-Jio “Additional Data Offer”, customers buying a new Oppo smartphone can avail up to 10GB additional 4G data per month for up to 6 recharges or up to 60GB additional 4G data benefits for 6 months. Note that, the new offer is only applicable for selected Oppo smartphones only that include Oppo F3, Oppo F3 Plus, Oppo F1 Plus, Oppo F1s, Oppo A57, Oppo A37 and Oppo A33.
The Oppo-Jio additional data value totally depends on your buying priority–what type of Oppo smartphone you buy—as both the company has divided eligible smartphones into two groups. Starting with the first group, customers who want to buy a Oppo F3, Oppo F3 Plus, or Oppo F1 Plus, they are eligible to get 10GB of additional 4G data per month for six months with a recharge of Rs. 309 or above.
Moving on the second group, this category includes Oppo’s mid-range smartphones such as Oppo F1s, Oppo A57, Oppo A37 and Oppo A33. All these smartphone buyers will get 7GB of additional 4G data per month for six months with a recharge of Rs. 309 or above.

The only pre-condition is that the selected Oppo smartphones buyers must have had the Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE subscription activated on these smartphones on or after June 30, 2017. The Chinese company says that all the eligible customers will get an additional 4G data voucher with every recharge of Rs. 309 or above. There is an upper limit of up to 6 recharges, and the offer is valid until March 31, 2018, as the validity of their (eligible subscribers) Prime membership subscription will be ended on that day. With the maximum limit of 6 recharges, a user can avail up to 60GB or 42GB of additional 4G data for free. To grab this new offer, you have to register your number in “Jio Prime” membership plan. Under the Reliance Jio terms and conditions, this additional 4G data voucher will be credited to the eligible subscriber’s account within 48 hours after doing the recharge.
In order to activate this additional 4G data offer on Oppo smartphones, users will need to download the MyJio app from Google Play Store to manage their account. In MyJio app, users will have to go to the ‘My Vouchers’ option, followed by ‘View Voucher’ and ‘Recharge my number’ and ‘confirm recharge’. Then it will show a notification for a successful recharge. Jio says the additional data offer will be expired or discontinued if Oppo smartphone users switch to another smartphone.
