After launching the F3 Diwali Edition in the Indian market last month, now it seems like the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is all set to announce the launch of its latest F series smartphone, dubbed as the “Oppo F5” in the Philippines on Thursday, October 26. The Chinese vendor has already started sending out the media invites for the “Capture the real you” launch event, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 26 in the land of Philippines. At the event, Oppo will be announcing the pricing details and the international availability of its premium bezel-less display smartphone, the Oppo F5. Oppo on Sunday shared a teaser image about the company’s big smartphone launch event on its official Facebook account. The recent teaser image shows an image outline of the bezel-less screen smartphone, model name, scheduled launch date and a tagline “Capture the real you”, which clearly points towards the selfie-centric Oppo F5.
However, there are many leaks and rumours about the Oppo F5 have been surfaced on several websites from the last couple of weeks. Recently, a promotional video of the Oppo F5 was also surfaced in the Philippines. Oppo F5 has been subjected to multiple leaks ahead of its official debut which does reveal a gist of all the specifications and features about the upcoming Oppo smartphone. If the emerging reports are to be believed, the Oppo F5 would see a significant overhaul in terms of specifications and arrive with a host of improvements in both hardware and software specs.
Oppo F5 rumoured Specifications and Features:
As per the recent leaks and promotional video, the Oppo F5 will have a gigantic 6-inch full HD+ bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. There is a possibility that the device may come in two variants, one with 4GB and another with 6GB RAM. The Oppo F5 is tipped to offer 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. In terms of photography, the Oppo F5 is expected to have a single 20-megapixel rear-facing camera at the back with an LED Flash module and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. On the front, the Oppo F5 will feature a dual front-facing camera setup, which comes combined with two 16-megapixel sensors. On the battery front, the Oppo F5 is expected to be backed up by a large 4,000mAh battery and will be available in various colour options including Black, Red, Gold and Rose Gold.
