New smartphone making company in India, Infinix Mobile, which is owned by Transsion Holdings, has come up with a new budget segment killer phone in the country. Just two days back, Infinix launched its ambitious and ‘high spec’ smartphone, Hot S3.
The USP of this phone is that although it’s a budget phone from Infinix, it boasts the features of almost a flagship handset!
A 20MP selfie-shooter camera combined with a Full View display (18:9 ratio) and Android Oreo!
Hot S3 comes in two variants, the one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and the other one with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and both the variants can have their storage extended upto 128GB, via microSD card. The company has made sure that the phone attracts a large number of Indian consumers who are wanting to have a flagship phone with full-vision display and a great front camera too.
And Infinix Hot S3 fits this criteria aptly, offering a 5.6inch HD+ (720x1440p) 2.5D display, and a screen-to-body ratio of 81%. And it’s a dual-SIM (Nano) phone.
But the biggest highlight of the phone is the 20MP front, selfie camera (f/2.0, 5P lens) with a dual LED flash. Also, there is a primary camera on the back of 13MP PDAF sensor (f/2.0, 5P lens) with dual LED flash.
Well, along with the camera and display the overall smooth performance of Hot S3 is taken care of by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, glued with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM (based on the models.)
Hot S3 also has connectivity options with Bluetooth 4.2, OTG support, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, VoLTE support, while the sensors include Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope, and the obvious one, fingerprint sensor-on the back. While, the durability and long lasting performance is ensured by a large 4,000mAh battery (with xCharge).
The OS platform is the very newest, Android Oreo (or android 8) which has been customized by Infinix with XOS 3.0.
In the end, comes the most important, pricing point.
Inifinix Hot S3 with 3GB RAM is priced at Rs.8,999 while the 4G RAM variant is priced at Rs.10,999.
The phone will be made available by February 12, 2018, exclusively on Flipkart sale. The two options for colour of Hot S3 are Sandstone Black and Brush Gold.
