The might of Avengers: Infinity War is still huge at the moment before the big competition begins after the next week, when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom arrives on June 15th, 2018. Meanwhile, the 19th MCU flick is going strong yet, and has now grossed beyond $1.92 billion, globally! On the other hand, the domestic collection also has reached beyond $634 million.
May be in the next week, or by the end of this weekend only, it will beat the domestic earnings of 2015’s Jurassic World’s $652 million.
But because this month is going to be a fully fun-filled action adventure, with ‘Incredibles 2’ and ‘Jurassic World 2’ coming out, Infinity War will have a really tough time to reach the magical peak of $2 billion.
Another Marvel flick, by 20th Century Fox, Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool 2 is just about to cross the $600 million globally, while it has already beat the domestic earnings of last year’s masterpiece, Logan ($226 million).
Directed by the Russo brothers, Infinity War is in its 7th week now but still the people are loving it, which may be the big factor if it successfully crosses the $2 billion mark.
Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Avengers: Infinity War stars Josh Brolin, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Olsen and Chris Hemsworth among others.
