But more than Ranbir and Katrina’s chemistry and the adventurous drama, another story is picking up in social media. A photo of actor Govinda from the film is getting viral. People want to know whether Govinda has any role in the movie or his scenes have been chopped off in last minutes?
At the trailer launch of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ on Thursday, the director Anurag Basu has confirmed that the actor will not part of the movie at all when it gets released. Citing his confirmation to the rumour that went viral that actor Govinda was part of the movie ( at least in a cameo role), the ace film director opined that actor Govinda is not part of Jagga Jasoos. Although he has shot a scene with him, the actor is not in the film, Anurag has pointed out. In fact, Anurag himself had only requested the actor to be a small part in the movie as a guest appearance. Thanking the actor for his courtesy to shoot the scene, the maverick director told media that Govinda’s role was not that of any main character.
In fact, later both Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu informed the media that it was the production company’s loss as the script was changed and Govinda could not be part of the movie anymore.
Well, a few days earlier, Govinda was hurt by the film maker’s attitude in not telling him whether his cameo has been retained or not. Govinda even had gone on record saying that he would not be part of the promos involved for the movie.
In fact, actress Katrina Kaif too had posted a picture of Govinda on her Twitter account and said, “A First Look of Govinda’s cameo in Jagga Jasoos!” Her posting had created an anxiety of viewers.
