One of the few films that has managed to attain a cult status during the time of its theatrical run, Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey has turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office.
The success of the Telugu film instantly prompted the question if there would be a remake. And, the news eventually came out few days back when it was announced that National Award-winning actor ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s son, Dhruv, would be making his acting debut in Tamil with the Arjun Reddy remake.
Now, the film has gotten a major push forward as the makers, E4Entertainment, have announced that National Award-winning filmmaker Bala would helm this project.
As known to all, it as Bala who set forth the path of success for Vikram with his thunderous 1999 hit, Sethu. And, it looks like he is set to do the same for Dhruv Vikram as well this time with the Arjun Reddy Tamil remake.
