Usain Bolt plans to concentrate on only 100 metres in the 2017 season, which will bring the curtains down on a his glorious athletics career.

Earlier this year, Usain Bolt has already started planning to pursue a late career in professional football, when he retires from athletics (track and field). The Jamaican legend’s final competitive race (World Championships) will be held in London next summer.

Before walking away from the sport, he has plans to train with Borussia Dortmund. So far the Jamaican sprinter has captured nine Olympic gold medals.

“Right now, it’s my last season and I have to just go out there and enjoy,” Bolt told Jamaica-based The Gleaner newspaper.

“I think we have done the bulk of the work over the 10 years we have been working, so now it’s my last season. The focus is on the 100m, and I will just be trying to enjoy the season, not too much stress. It’s all about my fans and I am just going to go out there for them and do my best as always.” Jamaican legend added.

Usain Bolt, the 30-year-old athlete dominated the sprint events over an unprecedented span of years in the sport, winning the 4×100 metres, 200 metres and 100 metres relay at three consecutive Olympic Games. He has won eleven world titles and also the record breaker (holder) in the 200 metres (19.19) and 100 metres (9.58sec).
