Soon after launching the Aqua Power IV smartphone in the Indian market, Home-bred handset manufacturer Intex Technologies on Tuesday launched its first 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone, called the “Intex Turbo+ 4G” in the Indian market. The new Intex Turbo+ 4G feature phone is a part of company’s special Navratna series. Apart from this Intex Turbo+ 4G model, the company also launched eight other 2G-enabled feature phone models under its ECO series, Turbo series, and Ultra series. The Turbo+ 4G feature phone and eight 2G-enabled feature phones are priced between Rs. 700 and Rs. 1500. Reliance Jio’s effectively free offering of low-cost 4G enabled VoLTE handset has triggered a new form of handset revolution in the Indian phone market, and now Intex is the latest contender in this battle.

Intex Turbo+ 4G Specifications
Intex Turbo+ 4G feature phone comes equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and runs on KaiOS software. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. In terms optics, the handset sports a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera front for capturing selfies. On the battery front, the Intex Turbo+ 4G feature phone comes packed with a 2,000mAh battery. Other interesting features on the phone include video-calling over 4G connectivity, torch light, and seamless Internet experience.
Intex Navratna Series — Eco Models
The Eco series feature phones include three models– Eco 102+, Eco 106+ and Eco Selfie. All the Eco series feature phones sport a 1.8-inch QQVGA display and come with currency verification, 800mAh-1800mAh, Multi-Language Support, Camera, GPRS and WAP facility for the Internet. The Eco 102+ supports a currency verification feature that allows users to verify the authenticity of their currency. Apart from this, the feature phone also sports wireless FM, camera and packs an 800mAh battery. The Eco 106+ comes loaded with a 1000mAh battery, wireless FM and expandable memory of up to 32GB. Both the feature phones have a large Phonebook memory of 500 contacts. On the other hand, the Eco Selfie features a sports a dual camera (front and rear) with flash, supports all 22 Indian languages for regional communications and has the GPRS/WAP facility for Internet service. The Eco Selfie model comes packed with an 1800mAh battery and has a Phonebook memory of 1500 contacts.
Intex Navratna Series – Turbo Models
The Intex Turbo series includes two models, namely Turbo Shine and Turbo Selfie18. Both the feature phones come equipped with a 2.4-inch display. The Turbo Shine also supports wireless FM and all 22 Indian languages for regional communications. The Turbo Shine packs a 1400mAh battery and has an expandable memory up to 32GB. On the other hand, the Turbo Selfie 18 features dual camera setup (front & rear) with LED flash, an 1800mAh battery and has a large Phonebook storage of 2000 contacts.
Intex Navratna Series – Ultra Models
In the Ultra series, Intex has launched two new feature phones — Ultra 2400+ and Ultra Selfie. The Intex Ultra 2400+ comes equipped with a 2.4-inch display, 2400mAh battery, a rear camera with LED flash unit. The phone has a large Phonebook storage capacity of 2000 contacts and expandable memory up to 64GB. On the other hand, the Intex Ultra Selfie features a 2.8-inch display, dual camera setup (front & rear) with LED flash, and a mammoth 3000mAh battery.
Finally, Intex Lions G10 sports a 2.4-inch display, 1450mAh battery, and camera. Further, the Intex Lions G10 has a big Phonebook storage capacity of 2000 contacts and expandable memory up to 64GB.
All these aforementioned feature phones will be made available for purchase in India starting from the end of this month via all leading offline retail stores across the country in Black and White colour options.
