The Chinese PC and tablet manufacturer Lenovo on Wednesday launched its 2017 range of ThinkPads, ThinkCentres and Tiny-in-Ones (TIOs) in the Indian tech market. This new range of “Think” lineup includes ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, ThinkPad X270, ThinkPad Yoga 370, ThinkPad L470, ThinkPad T470, ThinkPad T470s, ThinkCentre M710 Tiny Desktop, ThinkCentre M710 Tower & Small Form Factor (SFF), ThinkCentre M910 Tower, ThinkCentre Tiny-In-One 22 & 24, ThinkVision X1, ThinkVision P27h and ThinkVision T24i. Lenovo’s new range of the Think product line are powered by Intel’s seventh-generation Core i7 processors and offer a range of new features such as Low Blue Light Technology to adjust blue light emission to reduce eye strain, Low-Temperature Solder process for better reliability, Fingerprint Reader with a dedicated chip for biometric processing and Lenovo Smartbeep Technology. However, all the updated Think products will be made available for purchase by the end of this month.

“With the new Intel processor coupled with our legendary Think product attributes, this latest range is equipped to meet the critical and evolving business requirements,” said Rahul Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO, Lenovo India.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon

In terms of design, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is made of four layers of carbon-fiber reinforced material with a magnesium alloy roll-cage for better strength. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon sports a 14-inch Full-HD IPS anti-glare display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The machine also comes with a face recognition Infrared camera and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication process. In terms of connectivity, the X1 Carbon offers various connectivity options including Intel Thunderbolt 3, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE, HDMI, USB 3.0, USB Type-C, and DisplayPort. The device is claimed to deliver 15.5 hours of battery life with Rapid Charge technology that provides charge to the battery 0-80% in just one hour. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is priced starting at Rs 1,23,000.

ThinkPad X1 Yoga

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga sports a 14-inch WQHD OLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The key highlight of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga is its 360-degree hinge, that allows using your notebook in a variety of different positions. The X1 Yoga can be used as a tablet, a traditional laptop, positioned as a tent, or propped up like a stand. The ThinkPad X1 Yoga supports a rechargeable Pen stylus just like the Microsoft Surface Pen. The device is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i7 processors coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. In terms of connectivity, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga offers various connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE-A slot, HDMI, and USB 3.0 port. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is priced starting at Rs 1,45,500.

ThinkPad Yoga 370

The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370 is a lightweight and fashionable convertible for busy workers. The Yoga 370 sports a touchscreen display and supports 360-degree hinge, this 2-in-1 flips allows using your device in a variety of different positions. It can be used as a tablet, a traditional laptop or positioned as a tent. The device also supports pen Stylus. Apart from its powerful hardware configurations the Yoga 370 also comes with a backlit keyboard. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0, HDMI, and microSD card slot. The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370 is priced starting at Rs 96,000.

ThinkPad Yoga X270

The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga X270 sports a 12.5-inch HD/Full-HD anti-glare display. The device is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i7 processors coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. In terms of connectivity, the ThinkPad Yoga X270 offers various connectivity options including Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, HDMI, and USB Type-C and USB 3.0 port. The ThinkPad Yoga X270 is designed for heavy users. The laptop is fuelled by a 3 + 6-cell 72Whr battery that is claimed to deliver 21 hours of battery life. The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga X270 is priced starting at Rs. 89,600.

ThinkPad L470, ThinkPad T470 and ThinkPad T470s

The Lenovo ThinkPad L470 also comes with Intel’s seventh-generation Core i7 processors and SSD storage. Basically, this range of laptops is designed for those, who are familiar with rough and tough conditions. The powerful notebooks are capable of tackling the rough conditions due to its rugged build quality and enterprise-level security. The Lenovo ThinkPad T470 laptop is rated to deliver a battery backup of 18 hours. It also offers fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and face recognition Infrared camera. On the other hand, the ThinkPad T470s sports a full-HD/QHD display and provides an “all-day battery life”. The ThinkPad L470 is priced starting at Rs 67,900. The ThinkPad T470 rugged laptop starts at Rs 88,600, while the another rugged laptop, ThinkPad T470s starts at Rs 97,700.

ThinkCenter M170 and ThinkCentre M910

ThinkCentre is a line of business-oriented desktop computers that supports mid-range to high-end processors as well as discrete graphics cards. Lenovo on Tuesday updated its ThinkCentre series with the launch of two new powerful tower PC’s — ThinkCenter M170 and ThinkCentre M910, and they are priced at Rs 33,350 (with monitor) and Rs 45,990 respectively.

ThinkCentre Tiny-In-One 22 & 24

The ThinkCentre Tiny-In-One is Lenovo’s all-in-one desktop computer. The ThinkCentre TIO comes in two different screen size of 22-inch and 24-inch anti-glare displays with a thin borderless design and integrated speaker. Both the models support Full-HD panel with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Other features include two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one minI USB 2.0 port. With the modular design, the new TIOs are built to allow users to change Tiny Desktop CPU without any tools, as and when needed.

ThinkVision X1, ThinkVision P27h and ThinkVision T24i

The ThinkVision X1 is an ultra-HD monitor that supports 4K UHD video. The ultra-HD monitor comes with two USB Type-C ports and features full-HD camera, dual-array microphone and stereo speakers. The ThinkVision X1 monitor range starts at Rs. 45,000. ThinkVision P27h monitor comes with a 68.5cm crystal clear borderless IPS display with a screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. ThinkVision P27h is also certified by TUV Eye Comfort certification for secure viewing experience. The ThinkVision P27h QHD monitor is priced starting at Rs. 36,000. Lastly, the ThinkVision T24i comes with a Full-HD IPS panel with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The display features four USB ports along with an audio port. The ThinkVision T24i has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 18,000.
