Thor Ragnarok, is no doubt one of the most and foremost anticipated movies in the coming year, 2017. And adding to its already increasing curiosity levels, there have been some leaked footage that has gone viral over YouTube, in a month or so.
Chris Hemsworth will be reprising the role of our beloved Asgardian superhero, while the others include, Tom Hiddeston as the Loki, Jamie Alexander as Sif, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Alba as Heimdall and for the first time, entering the ‘Thor’ series, Mark Ruffalo, the big-green Hulk.
Another ‘to-know’, thing which has just been revealed by Director Taika Waititi, is that the third movie in the series will introduce us to Planet Hulk! Yes, you will get to see the native planet of the green giant hero, and it’s called, Sakaar. The media reports are saying that perhaps Sakaar will be the turning point scene for the movie, where Thor will be re-united with Hulk.
As the Director himself told in a recent media interaction, “Sakaar was just an insane, far-off, futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters…I was really excited when Kevin [Feige] and the rest of Marvel jumped on board with the idea to use [Jack] Kirby as a big influence in the design of the film. What’s really hard is staying authentic.”
Jeff Goldblum, will be playing the Grandmaster, a cosmic being fascinated with gaming and chance, who enjoys manipulating trivial life-forms such as human beings. Or in other words, it can be said about him, as a negative character. Actor Goldblum described the character as, “a hedonist, a pleasure-seeker, an enjoyer of life and tastes and smells.”
The Special appearance-strange!
Also, another exciting aspect of the movie will be that Marvel is going to have another ‘mid-credits scene’, like the one in Captain America: Civil War, where one sequence had the Ant-Man. So, Thor Ragnarok too, will have Benedict Cumberbatch appearing as Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme, in one of its sequences. All this adds up to the euphoria that’s spreading fast among the waiting fans, who can’t get enough of it. Hope, the release date gets an early schedule-hopefully!
