After unveiling the “foldable” laptop concept, the Chinese PC and tablet manufacturer Lenovo on Wednesday launched a smallest but powerful workstation, dubbed as the “ThinkStation P320 Tiny” at company’s Tech World Transform event in New York City. Lenovo says the ThinkStation P320 Tiny weighs just 1.3kg as light as Apple’s MacBook Air but it carries all high-end specifications in a 7.2-inch (height) box.

The ThinkStation P320 Tiny is designed to deliver professional workloads as the machine comes loaded with up to 7th Generation Intel Core i7 vPro processor, up to 32GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM, and Nvidia Quadro P600 graphics unit. The ThinkStation P320 Tiny is currently the world’s smallest workstation, which is certified for Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and it is also environmentally friendly. However, the ThinkStation P320 Tiny will be made available for purchase starting early July through the company’s channel partners at a starting of $800 (roughly Rs. 51,500).

Lenovo ThinkStation P320 Tiny Specifications:

The ThinkStation P320 Tiny has been launched by Lenovo in two variants, wherein the base model comes with 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700T processor and the top-spec model features 7th Generation Intel Core i7 vPro. The desktop is powered by up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM and Nvidia Quadro P600 image processing unit for powerful performance and flawless visuals. In terms of storage, the desktop has two M.2 NVMe SSD slots with up to 1TB NVMe solid state storage each (available via after-market upgrade). Talking about its software front, the ThinkStation P320 Tiny system runs on Windows 10 64-bit version.

Ports on the machine include six USB 3.0 ports (2 on the front and 4 on the rear side), Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ-45), microphone jack, audio jack, Wi-Fi antenna slot, and six display outputs (two full-sized DisplayPort and four mini DisplayPort connectors). The connectivity options offered by the desktop include Intel Dual Band Wireless ac 8265 (2.4 GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.1. If the additional connectors are valuable, the smallest ThinkStation supports extensibility options with add-ons, which include more USB ports, serial ports, and a COM port, or an optical disc drive. Dimensionally, the ThinkStation P320 Tiny measures 35.6 x 180.3 x 182.88 mm and weighs only 1.3 kg.
