Tiger Shroff, Nidhi Agarwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Munna Michael was expected to be a hit (if not a superhit), before its release, going by its content and dance numbers. But the Sabbir Khan directorial is really struggling now to make a hold on the box-office track. The movie opened its account by grossing 13 crores in two days of its release, last weekend. But after that, the movie has managed to collect just around 11 crores in the last 3 days of its run!
Munna Michael grossed Rs.2.65 crores on Tuesday, and stands with a total of just Rs.27.57 crores. The second week hasn’t been a good start for the movie and it seems that the film won’t be able to run more than a week from now-may be, only till third week.
The feature film has performed even worse when compared to Sachin Tendulkar’s documentary Sachin: A Billion Dreams, which earned Rs.28.05 crores-only in the first weekend!
Munna Michael is an entertainer in which a street boy called Munna (Tiger Shroff), who is a die-hard fan of Pop-King Michael Jackson, dreams to become a great dancer and idolizes the Pop Icon. He then gets trained by his teacher, Michael (Ronit Roy).
