There will be a press event by Nokia on July 11th, 2018 in China and it has now been confirmed by the company itself on its Weibo account page, by putting an official invite on that. And strong rumors and expectations are hinting towards the launch of Nokia 5.1 Plus. HMD Global, which owns Nokia has may just call it Nokia X5, adding to its previous Nokia X series.
Courtesy the promo poster of Nokia 5.1 Plus, which was leaked last week, the said model may come with a notch and in three categories, namely the variants with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The phone may be priced cheaper in China but when it releases overseas, HMD Global may price it up a bit higher!
Other details hint towards the phone having a Snapdragon 600 series SoC or even a Helio P60 chipset. Display may be set to just HD+ resolution of 720x1520p, having the screen size of 5.86inch.
The company may price it in China at as low as Rs.8000 to as high as Rs.11,000. The mid-range device will work as a luring product for those who want good performance in less budget and may turn up as a great competitor to Xiaomi’s similarly priced phones with same specs!
