ZTE sub-brand Nubia launched its mid-ranged flagship, Nubia Z17 Mini smartphone in the Indian tech market earlier this month. Now, almost one week later, the company has started shipping units of its Nubia Z17 mini smartphone across the country from today. Price at Rs. 19,999, the new Nubia Z17 mini is now made available for purchase exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon India in Black-Gold colour option. To recall, the Nubia Z17 mini smartphone was first unveiled with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants in China this year. In India, the smartphone has been launched in 4GB RAM variant. The main highlight of the Nubia Z17 Mini is its 13MP+13MP rear camera setup.

The e-commerce giant is providing an additional exchange discount on the purchase of Nubia Z17 mini. Interested customers can avail an additional benefit of Rs. 13,060 on exchanging their old smartphones with the new Nubia Z17 mini smartphone. To exchange your smartphone, you need to make sure that the used phone must be in working condition. Apart from that, Amazon is also offering EMI option starting at Rs. 1,786 per month for selected bank’s Credit Card holders.

Nubia Z17 Mini Design:

In terms of design, the new Nubia Z17 mini sports a metal unibody design with a sleek body and thin bezels giving it an overall premium look. Basically, the Nubia Z17 mini looks very similar to its younger sibling Nubia Z17, including the horizontal rear-side dual camera arrangement. It also features on-screen navigation buttons and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, that is housed in the back panel of the device. The volume rockers, as well as the power/lock buttons, are placed on the right-hand edge of the smartphone and the traditional red circular capacitive home button is situated on the front panel just below the display. The speaker grilles are seen at the very bottom edge of the handset along with a USB Type-C charging port sitting in the middle.

Nubia Z17 Mini Specifications and Features:

In terms of specifications, the Nubia Z17 mini sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels and has a pixel density of 424 ppi. The display is covered with a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. In terms of memory, the Nubia Z17 mini comes with a 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the Nubia Z17 mini runs company’s own Nubia 4.0 custom UI skin, based on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

In terms of optics, the new Nubia Z17 mini comes with a dual primary camera setup on the rear. One camera sports a 13-megapixel Sony full-light Monochrome sensor, while another camera comes with a 13-megapixel RGB sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter with 80-degree wide angle, 5P lens, and f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera features include f/2.2 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), 4K video recording, LED flash and company’s proprietary NeoVision 6.0 software package.

In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM Nubia Z17 mini offers 2.2 dual-band Wi-Fi technology which allows for better and wider connectivity. Connectivity options on the device also include 4G voLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS/A-GPS/Glonass, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-Type C port for superfast charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include Fingerprint (rear-mounted), Accelerometer, Gyroscope, E-Compass, Ambient Light sensor, and Proximity sensor. The Nubia Z17 mini is fuelled by a decent 2950mAh battery with first charging support. Dimension wise, the handset measures 146.65 x 72.5 x 7.45mm and weighs 155 grams.
