Since the release, Wonder Woman has been a raging fire, breaking every barrier and records, along with instilling a new hope for future flicks in the DC Extended Universe.
But the real force behind all the impact, director Patty Jenkins, is now set to come up with even more greater sequel to Princess Diana’s origin story. Last month, it was confirmed by DC creative chief Geoff Johns, that Patty Jenkins will be directing the Wonder Woman sequel.
But, as the movie has been an unprecedented success at the box-office, Patty Jenkins will now be receiving a big pay-rise for the sequel, scheduled to be shot next year. Jenkins received around $1.5-$3 million (probably) for Wonder Woman. But, a new deal will be made for the director now-about $10 million.
And it’s fairly justified too, given the enormous impact of the Amazon Princess’s origin movie. It’s certain now, that Warner Bros will be giving Jenkins the said amount for the next part.
