Priyanka Chopra has made her splendid mark in Hollywood, firstly with her TV series ‘Quantico’ and then followed by the Hollywood debut film ‘Baywatch’.
Now, she has one more reason to be proud of Priyanka Chopra will be honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award in a new category that has been introduced by the jury – the ‘International Acclaimed Actress Award’.
The Mary Kom actress, who has made India proud by her wonderful achievements in the west, will be the first recipient of the award.
Though its not yet confirmed whether Priyanka will attend the award ceremony that will be held on June 1.
That won’t be all. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra too will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the Best Film category for her maiden production, ‘Ventilator’.
