Chinese smartphone manufacturer Zopo has recently expanded its mid-range smartphones portfolio with the launch of two new smartphones with full-screen displays — Zopo Flash X1 and Zopo Flash X2 – in the Indian tech market. Both the smartphones come with a metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor and full-screen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, which the company claims these are the cheapest full-screen smartphones in the country. As for pricing, the Zopo Flash X1 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 6,999, while the Zopo Flash X2 has been priced at Rs. 8,999. Both the smartphones will be made available for purchase in the country starting from this month in Coral Blue, Alien Black and Citrine Gold colour options. Besides this launch, the Chinese vendor also said that it is currently looking forward to make an exclusive partnership with an e-commerce website to sell these newly launched smartphones.
Zopo Flash X1 Specifications and Features:
As far as specifications are concerned, the Zopo Flash X1 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 640 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass coating on top. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and offers a stunning 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the Zopo Flash X1 is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the smartphone runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. For biometric authentication process, the Zopo Flash X1 features a rear-mounted fingerprint recognition button that is housed on the rear panel of the device.
In terms of optics, the Zopo Flash X1 houses an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with Sony IMX219 sensor, an f/2.4 aperture and an LED flash module for excellent low-light photography. On the front side, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a soft LED flash for capturing bright selfies even in low light situations.
On the connectivity front, the Zopo Flash X1 supports dual-SIM dual standby using a hybrid dual-SIM card slot (Nano + Nano / microSD). Apart from this, the smartphone also offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. On the battery front, the Zopo Flash X1 comes packed with a 2,500mAh battery.

Coming to the Zopo Flash X2, the smartphone flaunts a massive 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass protection on top. The Zopo Flash X2 also has a full-screen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Talking about its power and performance, the Zopo Flash X2 draws its power from a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor, which comes paired with Mali-T720 GPU to take care the graphics content. In terms of memory, the Zopo Flash X2 also comes loaded with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB. The smartphone also runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the device just within 0.16 seconds.
