Prestigious Zee Cine Awards took place recently and all our favorite celebs dressed in finest
way attended it.
Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan and many others were part of this star studded night.
The major winners of night were Alia Bhatt, who won best actress award for her performance in Udta Punjab and Amitabh Bachchan won Best Actor award for his superb role of a lawyer in critically acclaimed movie, Pink.

Salman Khan was choosen as Viewer’s Choice Best Actor(Male) and Anuska Sharma got Viewer’s Choice Best Actor(Female). While, Dangal had the honor of being Viewer’s Choice Best Film, Pink was the jury’s choice for the Best Film.
Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja garnered as many as six awards including Best Director for Ram Madhvani and Best Debutant(Male) for Jim Sarb who luckily, also won the award of Best Actor in Negative role for the same movie.
Ritika Singh bagged the award Best Debutant (Female) for Saala Khadoos. Aniruddha Roy Chaudhury was selected as Best Debut Director for Pink. Actress Shabana Azmi and Rishi Kapoor proved the Best Supporting actors for their roles in Neerja and Kapoor & Sons Respectively.
Best Music award went to Ae Dil hai Mushkil also, it’s Channa mereya was declared the Best song and singer Arijit Singh went to win the Best Playback singer(Male) for it’s title track. Best Backgroud score went to Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift.
Song Jag Ghoomeya gave it’s singer Neha Bhasin, the Best Playback singer(Female) and the Best Lyricist award to Irshad Kamil. Bosco-Caeser walked away with the Best Choreography award for Kaala Chasma from Baar Baar Dekho. Best Dialogue award went to Pink. Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Action, all of these three awards were given Ajay Devgan’s Shivaay.
Regional awards were also presented Joker proved the best Tamil Film and R Madhavan was Best Tamil actor for Irudhi Suttru. Prakton was the Best Bangla Film and Poali Dam as the Best Bangla actor(Female) for Khawato. Akash Thosar of Sairat fame the Best Actor (Male) and Rinku Rajguru again for Sairat was Best Actor (Female) and off course Sairat was awarded the best Marathi Film award.
