As far as the design is concerned, the Moto G5 doesn’t look anything like last year’s Moto G4. Both the Moto G5 and G5 Plus offer very similar splashproof design, featuring a metal build along with the signature “M” logo below the Moto Z-like circular camera housing on the back. One thing, the back panel of the Moto G5 is removable in nature, which is not the case with the Moto G5 Plus. Both phones have a fingerprint sensor on the front within a capacitive button.
“Moto G is our biggest franchise and the fastest selling as well. We had launched the Moto G5 Plus a few weeks back and now we are bringing the Moto G5. India is an important market and we want to offer the best from our portfolio to consumers here,” Motorola Mobility India managing director Sudhin Mathur told reporters in New Delhi.
