Earlier in the week, Lenovo-backed Motorola launched the new mid-range flagship smartphone and also the new member of the G series, Moto G5 in India. Now the company, Motorola mobility will soon be launching an entry-level Moto E4, the successor of Moto E3, which was eventually brought to India as Moto E3 Power with a price tag of Rs 7,999.
The upcoming Moto device has been recently certified by USA’s FCC (Federal Communication Commission), and it was spotted with XT1762 model number, which many believe it to be the fourth generation Moto E. The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) listing also reveals some key specifications and features of the upcoming phone. Some of the specifications have leaked too, revealing that the Moto smartphone will be for the users looking for a decent budget friendly device.
According to the FCC listing, spotted by prolific twitter spy Roland Quandt, the Moto E4 will run Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. The FCC listing shows that Moto E4 will be backed by 2800mAh battery and will offer 16GB of internal storage. There’s no mention of fast charging in the listings. The connectivity options on board include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The smartphone will also support dual SIM functionality.
Motorola E4 (I think) at FCC as Moto XT1762 (EMEA DS model) w/ 16GB, LTE, 2,4GHz WiFi, 2800mAh, BT4.2, Android 7.0: https://t.co/KqUHdYwfOI

Almost all the leaked specs look believable, but the use of 2,800mAh battery sounds odd, as the Moto E3 Power features a 3,500mAh battery. Interestingly, previous rumours suggest that the Moto E4 could feature a big 4,000mAh battery. However, no other details are known at the moment but we hope to get more information about the device in few days so stay tuned.
