The home-bred handset manufacturer Lava launched its two entry-level smartphones, the Lava Z10 and the Lava Z25 at Rs. 9,990 and Rs. 16,990 respectively in India earlier this year. Today, the company has announced a new upgraded variant of the budget-friendly Lava Z10 smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 11,500. Back in March, the Lava Z10 was launched with 2GB RAM on board at a price point of Rs. 9,990. Now, the upgraded version of the Lava Z10 comes with 3GB RAM on board for great performance and flawless multitasking at a price of Rs. 11,500. The upgraded Lava Z10 with 3GB RAM is now available for purchase through the company’s official retail stores, according to Lava.
The new edition of the Lava Z10 comes pre-bundled with some interesting offers which include, one-year free screen replacement guarantee which is applicable from the date of purchase and is valid for one screen replacement. Lava Mobile is also offering “30-day Replacement Policy” where consumers can get their smartphones replaced with a new one in case of a hardware damage within a span of 30 days of purchase.
Lava Z10 specifications and features:
In terms of specifications, the Lava Z10 sports a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved display with a screen resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. The device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, Lava Z10 is backed by a 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fronts, the dual-SIM Lava Z10 runs on Star OS 3.3 customized UI skin based on Google’s Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
In terms of photography, the Lava Z10 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto focus, LED flash and offers different modes including Bokeh effect, Night Pro mode and Panorama. On the front of the device, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Spotlight flash for bright selfies and video calling.
In terms of connectivity, the new Lava Z10 offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio port, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. The Lava Z10 houses a 2620mAh battery, which is associated with power saving features such as Power Saver mode and Super Power Saver mode. The Lava Z10 also come equipped with the latest multilingual keyboard that supports 11 Indian regional languages. Other features on the device include Smart Gestures, USB On-The-Go and 3 Point Touch as well.
