Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will go on sale in India at 12pm IST on Wednesday via e-commerce website, Flipkart.com and Xiaomi’s official e-commerce website, Mi.com. To recall, the Redmi Note 4 was launched in India earlier this year in three variants, with the price starting at Rs. 9,999. The Redmi Note 4 comes in three different variants based on their internal storage capacity, the 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been priced at Rs 9,999, the 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage variant is priced Rs 10,999, while for 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage option, you have to pay Rs 12,999. The device comes in Matte Black, Silver, Gold, and Grey colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch IPS full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Redmi Note 4 is powered by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the phone is backed by a 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fonts, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs company’s own MIUI 8 custom skin, based on Google’s Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The handset also houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
In terms of photography, the Redmi Note 4 features a 13-megapixel rear CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, dual tone LED flash, 77-degree wide angle lens, real-time filter and 1080p scale video recording. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens for video calls and capturing selfies. The device also features an IR Blaster (infrared sensor) that can be used as a universal remote to control third-party electronics & appliances like set-top boxes, audio consoles, TVs, fans, air conditioners or DVD players.
In terms of connectivity, this Redmi Note 4 features a hybrid dual-SIM setup. Connectivity options on the device also include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, GLONASS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for super-fast charging and data transfer. Sensors on the smartphone include Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, E-Compass and Gyroscope sensor. The Redmi Note 4 comes packed with a powerful 4100 mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charging. The handset measures at 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
