After launching the entry-level Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphone in India, now it seems like the Lenovo-backed Motorola is all set to launch its another lower mid-range smartphone, called the “Moto E4 Plus” in the India Indian tech market pretty soon. Moto India on Thursday shared a teaser image of the about the upcoming Moto device on its official Twitter account. The teaser image shows an image of an empty battery with “Oops” tagline, which means, the upcoming Moto device will come with a high-density battery. So, there is only one name under its segment, the Moto E4 Plus as it features a mammoth 5,000mAh battery. The latest Tweet reads, “A dead phone is the modern-day shortest horror story. We will ensure you don’t feel #Powerless again. What’s coming next? #StayTuned.” Sadly, the tweet does not disclose any specific name, exact date, time and venue of the smartphone launch event. To recall, Moto E4 Plus was launched in June 2017 with a price tag of $179.99 / €199 (around Rs 11,600). In the Indian smartphone market, the Moto E4 Plus will likely to be priced somewhere in between the Rs 9,000 and Rs 10,000.

In terms of specifications, the Moto E4 Plus sports a 5.5-inch HD display a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and 2.5D cover glass coating on top. The Moto E4 Plus is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage or 32GB of internal storage. Talking about its software front, the Moto E4 Plus also runs Google’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the Moto E4 Plus features a 13-megapixel rear sensor with 1.12-micron pixels, f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, 78-degree field of view lens, an LED flash, panorama, and HDR support. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with 1.4-micron pixels, f/2.2 aperture, fixed focus, 74-degree field of view lens, and an LED flash for capturing bright selfies and video calling even in low light.
In terms of connectivity, Moto E4 Plus is a single-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM. Apart from this, the phone also offers various connectivity options including 4G LTE, voLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a MicroUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include a Proximity sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Fingerprint (front-mounted) and E-compass sensor. The Moto E4 Plus is fuelled by a high- density 5000mAh removable battery with 10W rapid charger support. The device measures 155 x 77.5 x 9.55mm and weighs 181 grams.
