Home-grown consumer electronics company Lava on Wednesday launched its first-ever notebook, called the “Helium 14” in the Indian tech market. Lava has announced that their first ever Helium 14 notebook has been launched in the market in a partnership with Microsoft and Intel. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the new Lava notebook is now already available for purchase exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com in purple and silver colour options. Further, the company says that the Lava Helium 14 will also be made available for purchase at all leading offline retail stores and other multi-brand outlets across Delhi NCR, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Bangalore from the first week of July. The new Lava Helium 14 notebook is specially designed with keeping needs of the entry-level and mid-level executives, as the notebook sports a powerful Intel processor, full-HD display, high-density battery and a sleek lightweight design as well.

Lava Helium 14 Specifications and Features:

The Lava Helium 14 comes equipped with a 14.1-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The laptop is powered by an Intel Atom processor coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and Intel HD Graphics (Gen7). In terms of memory storage, the Lava Helium 14 comes packed with a 32GB built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. Further, the Helium 14 has an inbuilt microchip, called “Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that provides all round protection and security to the Helium 14. The laptop also features a 2-megapixel camera. Talking about its software front (OS), the Lava Helium 14 runs on Windows 10 Home Edition.

Ports on the device include USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. In terms of connectivity, the Lava Helium 14 offers various connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and HDMI. The Lava Helium 14 packs a massive 10,000mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery. Dimensionally, the notebook measures 333 x 220 x 19.4mm and weighs only 1.45 Kg.
