DC and Patty Jenkins’s epic and this year’s blockbuster, Wonder Woman has finally touched another benchmark. The Gal Gadot starrer big-screen adaptation of the Amazon Princess, has now grossed $400 million domestically in US. This feat means a lot, as reaching to a total of that figure and that too domestically, is no joke, even when you consider some recent and past superhero flicks.
The movie is already the 11th highest earning superhero movie of all time and now is slowly moving towards new records-if it’s still able to make!
Also, if it keeps gradual pace of earnings, it will then surely topple the very first Spider-Man movie starring Tobey Maguire (2002), to become the sixth highest domestic superhero grosser in the history.
Well done, Patty Jankins!
