Home-bred handset manufacturer M-tech on Thursday updated its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new entry-level smartphone, dubbed as the “M-tech TEZ 4G” in the Indian tech market. Priced at Rs. 4,999, the new M-tech TEZ 4G smartphone is now already made available for purchase in India via several e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Shopclues, and Paytm as well as all leading offline retail stores across the country in Gold and Black colour options.
Commenting on the launch of the M-tech TEZ 4G, Mr. Goutam Kumar Jain, Director, M-tech Informatics Ltd, said, “At M-tech we take pride in being a consumer centric and insight driven company. Technically speaking, the M-tech TEZ 4G comes equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D Dragontrail glass coating on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Talking about its software fronts, the device runs on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the M-tech TEZ 4G sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with an LED Flash module. On the front, the smartphone features a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.
In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM M-tech TEZ 4G smartphone offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. Sensors on the smartphone include an Accelerometer, Proximity and an Ambient light sensor. On the battery front, the Asus Zenfone Zoom S comes loaded with a decent 2,400 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 216 hours of standby time.
