Taiwanese gaming hardware and laptop manufacturer MSI has recently expanded its gaming laptop portfolio with the launch of three new gaming notebooks — MSI GT75VR Titan Pro, MSI GE73VR Raider, and MSI GE63VR Raider in the Indian tech market. As for pricing, the MSI GT75VR Titan Pro has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 3,24,990, the MSI GE73VR Raider is priced at Rs. 1,85,990, while for the MSI GE63VR Raider model, you have to pay Rs. 1,49,990. All these three gaming machines are aimed at professional as well as casual gamers and enthusiasts, as they come with dedicated gaming powers such as latest 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA’s new-generation graphic cards, and support VR gaming. All these newly-launched gaming notebooks are now already made available for purchase in India via e-commerce websites Amazon India and Flipkart.com.
MSI GT75VR Titan Pro
Starting with the most expensive gaming laptop, MSI GT75VR Titan Pro comes equipped with a 17.3-inch full HD anti-glare display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and offers a refresh rate frequency of 120Hz. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the new 7th generation Intel Core i7 7820HK processor (up to 4GHz overclock capability) coupled with 32GB of RAM. The GT75VR Titan Pro comes in three variants based on its GPU configuration: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, NVIDIA GTX 1070 SLI, and NVIDIA GTX 1070. In terms of storage, users get the option of 1 TB SATA HDD storage combined with 512GB NVMe SSD. The notebook also features a Rapid Mechanical RGB keyboard built by Steelseries with tactile feedback, more durability, and individual key RGB back-lighting capabilities. The gaming machine is cooled by an MSI-exclusive Cooler Boost 5 technology for better thermal management. Moving on the MSI GE73VR Raider, it comes equipped with the same 17.3-inch full HD anti-glare display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and offers a refresh rate frequency of 120Hz. The MSI GE73VR Raider is powered by the new 7th generation Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor clubbed with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics with 8GB DDR5 video memory for powerful performance and flawless gaming visuals. In terms of storage, users get the option of 1TB SATA HDD storage combined with 256GB PCIe SSD.
On the other hand, the MSI GE63VR Raider flaunts a 15.6-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the GE63VR Raider is powered by a 7th generation Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics with 6GB DDR5 video memory for superior gaming visuals. In terms of storage, the notebook comes with a storage combo of 1TB SATA HDD storage with 256GB PCIe SSD.
Both the gaming laptops feature a full RGB backlit keyboard made by Steelseries with tactile feedback, more durability, and individual key RGB back-lighting capabilities. Apart from this, the USB port also comes with its own LED lighting. The laptops also feature Killer N1435 combo Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chipset and two-year warranty.
In addition, these two gaming laptops also come with MSI-exclusive Cooler Boost 5 technology for advanced thermal management in intense gaming situations. Both the laptops have a 3ms 120Hz panel with 94% NTSC Color Gamut for much smoother and sharper HDR ready visuals.
All these aforementioned gaming laptops are equipped with Giant Speakers enhanced by Dynaudio, which is a full-sized chamber that is 5x bigger than any other laptop in this range and any other regular design. Speakers are also 2 to 3x bigger than others at this level of laptops. The company claims that the speakers offer over 50 percent enhanced rich and crystal-clear sound quality.
