South Korean giant Samsung is now rolling out itā€™s virtual assistant Bixby in about 200 countries. The voice assistant though, supports only two languages for now, namely English and Korean. It has been officially confirmed by Samsung that the voice assistant is being rolled out in multiple countries. Well, itā€™s been a month after the company provided it in the US for Samsung S8 and S8+ users.

Samsung said in a blog, ā€œStarting today, Galaxy S8 and S8+ users can enable Bixby’s voice capabilities by pressing the Bixby button to begin onboarding.ā€ To check whether the Bixby is now working on their S8 and S8+ phones or not, the users across the globe can just tap the Bixby button. Thereā€™s a dedicated button for activating Bixby on all the S8 and S8+ models.

Not to say that Bixby has been introduced to compete with other intelligent AI assistants like Appleā€™s Siri and Google Assistant. Users can use it to send texts and open Google Maps, Google Play Music, Youtube and Facebook.

Well, this worldwide release of Bixby has come just a day before the official launch of Samsungā€™s Galaxy Note 8. The to-be-launched phablet may come with in-built Bixby voice assistant.
