Soon after launching the Elite 4G smartphone in India, home-bred mobile phone manufacturer Swipe Technologies on Wednesday expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new entry-level smartphone, called the “Swipe Neo Power” in the Indian tech market. Carried a price tag of Rs. 2,999, the new Swipe Neo Power is now already made available for purchase India via all online e-commerce website including Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, etc. in Black, Grey and Gold colour options. The economical price of this smartphone might suggest a device with weak performance, but the Swipe Neo Power is designed to offer an exceptional entertainment, battery life, and productivity experience in its price range. The main highlights of the smartphone are its Corning Gorilla Glass protected 4-inch FWVGA display, 4G VoLTE support and a decent 2,500mAh battery.

Technically speaking, the Swipe Neo Power flaunts a 4-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 850 pixels by 480 pixels and a scratch resistance Corning Gorilla Glass coating on top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a powerful 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the Swipe Neo Power runs on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the Swipe Neo Power comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash module. On the front, the smartphone features a 2-megapixel fixed focus front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.
On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM Swipe Neo Power offers various connectivity options that include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the smartphone comes packed with a 2,500mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time. Sensors on the device include an Accelerometer sensor, Proximity sensor and Ambient Light sensor. Dimensionally, the handset measures 125 x 66 x 11 mm and weighs 127 grams.
