US-based smartphone manufacturer Nuu Mobile on Wednesday officially marked its entry into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of four new mid-range smartphones, namely Q500, M3, Q626 and X5. All these four smartphones have been launched in the country under its Nuu brand. As for pricing, the Nuu Q500 has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 9,999, the Nuu M3 has been priced at Rs. 12,499, the Nuu Q626 is priced at Rs. 12,999 and the top-spec model, Nuu X5 comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,999. All the newly-launched smartphones will be made available for purchase in India starting this September via all leading mortar and brick stores across the country.

Nuu Q500 Specifications:
Starting with the cheapest model, the Nuu Q500 comes equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of photography, the Nuu Q500 houses an 8-megapixel rear-facing with autofocus and an LED flash module. On the front, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls. Talking about its software fronts, the Nuu Q500 runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. Connectivity options offered by the smartphone include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. The Nuu Q500 will be available in Matte Black and Silver colour options.
Nuu M3 Specifications:
Moving on to the Nuu M3, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion by up to 128GB. Talking about its software fronts, the Nuu M3 also runs Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. For photography, the Nuu M3 features an 8-megapixel with an LED flash module. The rear camera also supports autofocus, live photo, panorama, burst mode and more. On the front, the handset bears a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with autofocus for capturing selfies and making video calls. The smartphone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint recognition button for biometric security. On the battery front, the Nuu M3 comes packed with a 3,200mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM Nuu M3 offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. Dimensionally, the handset measures 151.6 x 77.4 x 7.8 mm.
Nuu Q626 Specifications:
On the other hand, the Nuu Q626 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. The Nuu Q626 draws its power from a MediaTek quad-core processor, which comes coupled with a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint recognition button for biometric security. On the software front, the Nuu Q626 also runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. In terms of optics, the Nuu Q626 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel with autofocus, live photo feature and an LED flash module. On the front, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus for capturing selfies. Connectivity options on the Nuu Q626 include Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. The Nuu Q626 will be available in two body colour options including Sapphire Blue and Jet Black.
Nuu X5 Specifications:
Lastly, the most expensive Nuu X5, the handset features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Nuu X5 sports a zinc-aluminium alloy casing and supports features like SmartWake technology and air gestures for smart controls. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion by up to 128GB. For photography enthusiasts, the Nuu X5 sports a 13-megapixel main snapper with autofocus and an LED flash module. Talking about its selfie camera, the phone bears a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with wide-angle lens for capturing wider selfies and video chats. The Nuu X5 also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, that is housed on the middle of the back panel. On the battery front, the Nuu X5 comes packed with a decent 2,950mAh battery. On the software front, the Nuu X5 also runs Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
