This is going to blow all-not only DC fans but every superhero fan across the globe-because it’s serious! Recent announcements are hinting that DC will soon come out with an origin movie of Joker-the evergreen Batman villain-set in the 80s. And that’s not all, the most attracting point about the film is that it will be produced by the legend Martin Scorsese himself! Now, what about this?

This can be a make or break moment for DC and Warner Bros, since we all know that Warner Bros is on a run of expanding its desired DC Extended Universe (just as the MCU has established itself). So, what does this standalone Joker movie means for the studio?

It isn’t always like that, you see. Take for an example The Dark Knight trilogy by Christopher Nolan, being an exception as the only franchise which is unrelated to any extending universe of DC but everyone loves it-even after a decade! Basically it doesn’t mean that creating a space for an individual character will spoil the further continuation of an entire series, because the standalone movies being different from the franchise are still a part of the franchise, itself.

Take another example, like of this year’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 which was touted as a separate installment and not being a part of the reigning ‘Avengers: Infinity War Impact’ but indirectly it was a part of it! So, despite making a difference, it kind of relates to the series.

And when it comes to the Joker, we are always excited-the reason being Heath Ledger’s magical and memorable stint as the mad-bad-super villain!

Another important thing about the Joker standalone movie is that it will only focus on the Batman’s nemesis, but not The Dark Knight himself! Current reports say that but time is the most powerful thing and we don’t know about the future.

So, stay curious and do give your feedback and tell which actor would be perfect to play the Joker, apart from Jared Leto!
