
Home-bred handset manufacturer Ziox Mobiles on Monday expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new budget-oriented smartphone, dubbed as the “Ziox Quiq Aura 4G” in the Indian mobile market. Priced at Rs. 5,199, the new Ziox Quiq Aura 4G is now already made available for purchase in India exclusively via e-commerce website Snapdeal.com in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The economical price of this smartphone might suggest a device with weak performance, but the Ziox Quiq Aura 4G is designed to offer an exceptional entertainment, long battery life, and productivity experience in its price range. The main highlights of the smartphone are its 2.5D curved glass protected 5-inch HD IPS display, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, facial recognition feature, 4G VoLTE support and a powerful 3,000mAh battery.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Ziox Quiq Aura 4G comes equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass coating on top of the display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a powerful 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the Ziox Quiq Aura 4G runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. Android 7.0 Nougat introduces notable changes to the OS (operating system) and its development platform. So all the latest features of the OS are present in the device such as split-screen multitasking, smarter power management, etc.

Talking about its photography department, the Ziox Quiq Aura 4G features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash module. On the front, the device houses an another 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with an LED flash for capturing bright selfies and making video calls even in low-light conditions.
On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM supported Quiq Aura 4G offers various connectivity options that include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the smartphone is fuelled by a long-lasting 3,000mAh Li-ion battery. Sensors on the device include an Accelerometer sensor, Proximity sensor and Ambient Light sensor. The Ziox Quiq Aura 4G also supports features like the fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for high-grade biometric security. Apart from these specifications, the device also comes preloaded with different Indian languages that enable communication in 21 regional languages in India. Dimensionally, the handset measures 193 x 76.6 x 10.8mm and weighs around 148 grams.
