Andy Muschietti’s big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s IT, may be releasing worldwide on September 8th, but early reactions from some people (involving mostly critics), who have already watched it, are hinting towards something, even more huge from the film’s box-office aspects. Online site The Wrap has reported that the clown-horror flick has got the potential to break previously held records by popular horror films.

Earlier predictions were figuring out an estimate of around $50 million opening, but now the scenario has completely changed.

According to early reactions from some critics, the horror flick may just shatter Annabelle: Creation and Get Out too, with ease and create a new record instead, at the global box-office.

IT shows the story of some children who try to investigate the disappearance of other children in the town of Derry, Maine. They, then come across the most evil-ish and horrifying clown, the Pennywise who has deadly history of murdering people, behind him.

‘IT’ stars small teenage actors Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher along with Bill Skarsgard, in and as the horrific deadly clown Pennywise-or the IT!
