A new image has been released by Yahoo! Movies, showing Daisy Ridley’s Rey from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, standing on a cliff of ‘Ahch-To’, a planet where she first found Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But the new image also means more than being just another new promotional picture.
It also gives the hint regarding Jakku scavenger Rey’s development into a more intense warrior and her training-that has started, eventually!
The Force Awakens was a massive and huge success at the global box-office, shooting its way towards becoming the third highest grossing film of all-time. It currently sits at around $2.07 billion. Whether or not The Last Jedi will be able to surpass it, is yet to be seen when it officially arrives, later in the year.
Releasing on December 15th, 2017 and directed by Rian Johnson, The Last Jedi, also stars Mark Hamill as the legendary Luke Skywalker, Adam Driver as the ruthless and dark, Kylo Ren and John Boyega as Finn.
