To recall, Finnish start-up company HMD Global introduced its latest Nokia-branded feature phone, dubbed as the “Nokia 130 (2017)” in the Indian market last month along with company’s another feature phone Nokia 105 (2017). At the time of launch, the company announced that the new Nokia 130 feature phone will be made available for purchase in India pretty soon without giving any scheduled date. Now, almost one and a half month later, the company has started shipping units of its Nokia 130 (2017) feature phone to the mortar-and-brick stores across the country. Carried a price tag of Rs. Rs 1,599, the new Nokia 130 is now already made available for purchase in India via all leading offline retail stores across the country in Red, Grey and Black colour options. The revamped version of the Nokia 130 comes with a new modern design, updated features and runs on Nokia’s proprietary Series 30+ platform.

The Nokia 130 (2017) sports a 1.8-inch QVGA colour display with a screen resolution of 240X320 pixels. In terms of memory, the new Nokia 130 (2017) is backed up by a 4MB of RAM and 8MB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD card slot. The Nokia Series 30+ platform-based device comes with a curved ergonomic polycarbonate body with a redesigned island style keypad with separated keys for easier texting and dialling. On the camera front, new Nokia 130 (2017) features a VGA camera at the rear with video recording support.
Other features of Nokia 130 (2017) include a LED Torchlight, FM radio, and an inbuilt MP3 player to entertain you at certain times. Connectivity options offer by the Nokia 130 include Dual-SIM, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro-USB 2.0 charging port. On the battery front, the new Nokia 130 (2017) packs a decent 1020mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 11.5 hours of video playback, up to 44 hours of FM radio music playback with a headset and up to 1 month of standby time. Apart from these features, the Nokia 130 (2017) also comes pre-loaded with games like Snake Xenzia and five try-and-buy games from Gameloft which includes Ninja Up, Danger Dash, Nitro Racing, Air Strike, and Sky Gift. Dimensionally, the device measures at 111.5 x 48.4 x 14.2 mm.
