Laptop and desktop maker Acer has launched its new series of its iconic Predator desktops and monitors, at the IFA tech-event 2017, in Berlin. The company has come up with its most advanced gaming desktop yet called the Predator Orion 9000 and along with it, it has also released the Predator X-35 G-Sync HDR monitor.
The company has said that the Predator Orion 9000 is their most powerful PC yet. Jeff Lee from Acer said:
“With 4-way graphics and 18-core processors, it is a platform that takes gamers and intense graphic users beyond their dreams.”
Well, speaking of the newly released Orion 9000 gaming desktop PC, it is loaded with Acer’s IceTunnel 2.0 for liquid cooling. It is powered by an Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition 18-core processor and paired with a mammoth 128 GB DDR4 of memory or the RAM! Now, that’s more than huge and really astonishing for a gamer-seriously unbelievable.
Orion 9000 also consists of a liquid-cooled CPU, up to five 120mm fans in the front, top and back channel, blower-style fans on the graphics card-and a self-contained PSU.
For delivering unprecedented performance to the high-end gamers to play any massive video game, no matter what, Predator Orion 9000 is comprised of 4 Radeon RX Vega cards which are claimed to produce near-photorealistic imagery. And to ensure the best experience, gamers can choose between two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti cards also-for having a taste of the virtual reality.
Connectivity is enabled by 8 USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, 2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports (Type-A). Along with them there are 3 M.2 slots also and 4 PCIe x16 slots-for expanding video cards.
Next product released by Acer is the X-35 G-Sync HDR monitor and it will make you fall in love with it-promise! Just throwing a glance at it is enough to make you believe that you won’t get disappointed when seeing your favourite game come alive on its curved ‘WQHD’ display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The screen-size is measured at 35inch.
The exceptionally beautiful display is powered by NVIDIA G-SYNC, Acer HDR Ultra, quantum dot technology, and LED local dimming. Plus, gamers will also get the option to eight pre-set display modes for optimizing visuals, for various actions. And all in all, there are three modes for gamers namely, action, racing and sports.
For ensuring safety of the users, X-35 features Acer BlueLightShield technology, which limits the emission of Blue light.
Coming onto the price tags, Acer has priced the Predator Orion 9000 desktop at around $1,999 (approx. Rs.1,27,927), going on sale by December in North America, while the pricing of X-35 G-Sync monitor has not been revealed yet. Though, it may be available from the first quarter of 2018.
