Apple’s audio subsidiary brand, Beats by Dr. Dre has recently announced the launch of its latest wireless Over-Ear headphones, christened as the “Beats Studio 3” in the US tech market. Carried a price tag of US$349 (approximately Rs. 22,350), the new Beats Studio 3 wireless over-ear headphones is currently listed on the Apple’s online retail store for pre-order, while the shipment services for the Beats Studio 3 will start from mid-October.
The new wireless headset comes in six exciting body colour options including Red, Matte Black, White, Porcelain Rose, Blue, and Shadow Gray. The new Beats over-ear wireless headset is made of sophisticated and high-quality materials, giving it an overall premium and fresh look. It sports a sleek, durable and lightweight over-the-ear design for a comfortable experience. Beats by Dr. Dre says the soft over-ear cushions feature advanced venting and signature ergonomic pivoting that offers a flexible and custom fit for any head shape.
The Beats Studio 3 Wireless headset now comes with a host of smart features and capabilities and brings a creative audio experience to the noise-cancelling headphone market. Like the other premium Beats-branded headphones, the Beats Studio 3 also comes loaded with Apple’s W1 chip, which was earlier seen on the Apple AirPods, Powerbeats 3, Beats X and Beats Solo 3. The Apple W1 technology enables easy pairing with a nearby iPhone, iPad, and iMac. The Beats Studio 3 headset also supports Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC) feature to deliver premium sound quality blocking background noise.
Further, the headset features real-time audio calibration, which enhances clarity and range of the sound. The Pure ANC feature relies on two integrated microphones to detect ambient noise and compares the waveforms to the sound file of the music. The Pure ANC technology continuously pinpoints and blocks external sounds while automatically responding to individual fit and music playback.
The headset packs a rechargeable battery which claims to deliver up to 22 hours of playback time with the adaptive noise cancelling (Pure ANC) switch on, or up to 40 hours of playback time with low power mode and Pure ANC switch off. The headset draws its power via a microUSB connector. It takes only 10-minutes of charging time to offer 3 hours of playback thanks to its ‘Fast Fuel’ technology.
Connectivity options on the headset include Class 1 Bluetooth for easy wireless connectivity. The new Beats Studio 3 over-ear wireless headset also comes equipped with multi-function on-ear controls and a high-quality microphone incorporated in the headset making it easy to manage phone calls and control music on the go. Users can also control volume and activate Siri using the on-ear controls. The headphones also come with a RemoteTalk Cable with inline controls for wired playback.
