Bill Skarsgard, the dancing clown, Pennywise, in 'IT'

Warner Bros’s and New Line’s latest release, IT, is creating havoc since it broke out yesterday and everyone is just stunned by Andy Muschietti’s brave, brilliant and epic attempt of coming with a re-energized adaptation of Stephen King’s scary 1986 novel of the same name. Well, the movie come out at the most required time as far as the US domestic box-office is concerned and may be, it can end the two month drought of a big opening week, by any movie.

As per latest reports, ‘It’ began on a solid note yesterday on its first day, taking in an unexpected $25 million-just the first day.

And now, some analysts are even calling it more heavier and bigger, than it was initially predicted to be. It seems now that the scary, horror, clown movie will be having an opening weekend of more than $100 million-probably $103 million.

‘It’ will be the biggest domestic launch since Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 7th), considering the opening week collections, if it actually ends its maiden week past $100 million. The dancing-clown, R-rated flick will also be the fifth biggest film of this year, after Beauty and the Beast, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Wonder Woman, in terms of opening week grossing.
