Soon after launching the Aqua 5.5 VR+ smartphone in India, domestic handset manufacturer Intex Technologies on Tuesday expanded its product portfolio with the launch of two new entry-level smartphones – Intex Cloud C1 and Intex Aqua S1 — in the Indian smartphone market. Both the new smartphones come with latest features such as Android 7.0 Nougat OS, 4G VoLTE support and much more. The Intex Cloud C1 has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 3,499 and will be made available for purchase in India starting today exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon.in in Black colour option. On the other hand, the Intex Aqua S1 has been priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be made available for purchase starting today via same e-commerce portal in Black and Champagne Gold colour options. The lucrative price tag of these smartphones might suggest a device with weak performance, but the Cloud C1 and Aqua S1 have been designed to deliver an extraordinary entertainment, battery life and productivity experience in its price range.

Intex Cloud C1 Specifications:
The Intex Cloud C1 sports a 4-inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Taking about its power and performance, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the Intex Cloud C1 is backed up by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. On the software front, the Intex Cloud C1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM slots.
In terms of photography, the Intex Cloud C1 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED flash module. On the front, the handset features a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling as well.
Connectivity options offered by the Intex Cloud C1 include dual-SIM dual standby, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS /A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the device is fuelled by a 1,750mAh battery which company claims the battery is rated to offer up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. Dimensionally, the phone measures at 125 x 64 x 11.2 mm and weighs about 119.5 grams.

Moving on to the Intex Aqua S1, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA TN display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737V quad-core processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the device is backed up by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the Intex Aqua S1 also runs Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of optics, the Intex Aqua S1 houses a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a single LED flashlight. On the front, the device features an another 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls.
On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM Intex Aqua S1 offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. On the battery front, the Intex Aqua S1 comes packed with a 2,300mAh lithium-ion battery that is rated to offer up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. Dimension wise, the handset measures 145.4 x 73.1 x 10.1 mm and weighs 157.7 grams.
