Spider-Man: Homecoming has just been released as a Digital HD download a few days ago and all its die-hard fans are now waiting excitedly for the official Blu-Ray release on October 17th. You all must have watched it already in theatres too, but there’s still some stuff left for you to cherish, in the form of some bonus deleted scenes!
Yes, if the news is anything to go by, then the Blu-Ray release of Spider-Man: Homecoming will be containing those deleted scenes also which were not a part of the theatrical cut.
Now, according to the latest reports, there is one more scene featuring the film’s villain, Vulture aka Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton).
During a recent Tumblr Q&A, Laura Harrier, who played Liz Allen, the daughter of Adrian Toomes, teased a deleted scene from the movie, where she gets to meet her father, in the end, after he is taken to jail.
“I shot a scene in prison with Michael Keaton that was awesome.” Harrier told. “I wish it had been put in!”
Talking more about that scene and what impact it would have caused for a future for her character Liz, in particular, Harrier said, “I hope Liz gets powers, because that’s what happens in the comics. She becomes like Firestar, and she can like light things on fire.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming is now available as Digital HD and the DVD/Bluray is scheduled for a release soon in the next month, with an additional 86 minutes of bonus content; which will probably include other deleted scenes, along with the videos of the making of the movie.
