The latest comedy-entertainer of Varun Dhawan, Judwaa 2, a reboot of 1997’s Salman-starrer of the same name, has shocked everyone by its magical performance at the box-office. The film, also starring Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez, has now officially entered the 100 crore club.
According to BoxofficeIndia.com, the movie has touched the feat only in its second week, yesterday. The total of the film now stands at Rs.104.75 crore. On its second Saturday, the comedy flick earned another 5.50 crore, to add to its overall cum and make it a century.
This is Varun’s second 100 crore grosser this year, after March’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania. So, he’s got some big reason this Diwali to celebrate on a high note.
In its first week, Judwaa 2 collected around Rs.95.25 crore, and on its second Friday, the film managed to take in 4 crore, plus Saturday’s 5.50 crore.
Judwaa 2 directed by David Dhawan, is running successfully in the theatres.
